Merry Christmas: Place Vendome and Place Des Vosges At Christmas

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone reading this. As the year comes to a close, this season offers the perfect opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect. Christmas has always been a time for warmth, gratitude, and honesty, and that honesty begins with an apology. This year, my posting was inconsistent and at times completely absent. Life moved quickly, priorities shifted, and somewhere between plans and reality, regular updates fell by the wayside. Thank you for staying, reading, and returning despite the pauses.

This year was full in ways that did not always translate online. There were lessons learned quietly, moments lived without documentation, and experiences that mattered deeply even if they never became posts. Sometimes life asks us to be present rather than productive, to experience rather than record. While inconsistency is noticeable in the digital space, it does not diminish the value of what was lived and learned along the way.

As part of closing the year on a joyful and reflective note, I am sharing photos taken at two iconic Paris locations: Place Vendôme and Place des Vosges. Both places capture a timeless elegance that feels especially meaningful during the Christmas season. Place Vendôme represents refinement, symmetry, and history, standing as a symbol of classic Parisian style. Place des Vosges offers a quieter beauty, with its historic arcades, brick façades, and calm atmosphere that feels almost suspended in time during winter. Also, I added those I took at Galleries Lafayette at the very bottom so that's three locations now that hold the true magic of a Parisian Christmas.

Walking through these spaces during the holiday season was grounding and inspiring, a reminder that beauty does not demand urgency. It exists whether or not it is immediately shared.
